No but it's brand new, took it out of the package and put it on the schrader valve on the FPR. Tried it 3 times just to be sure. And it's been a while since I checked PSI in my tires anyway so they've probably gone down some due to the cold.

Spring in the regulator could be all screwed up. Somebody could of had it out at one time and did not get it back in correctly (binding).

The guy I bought the truck from was pretty savvy and did his own wrenching. It's possible, but I don't think he ever tinkered with the FPR other than removing the water in fuel sensor. I suppose when I get home tonight I should try to nose the truck in the garage and pull the FPR off after I get everything plowed and take a look.

Chase, just unscrew the big nut and carefully take it off. Inside you will see a spring which you can remove. The part the spring goes inside of (needle valve) can also be removed with a magnetic screwdriver. Just throw a shop rag or something under the regular in case anything falls out .. it should not though. Super easy!

Edit: You know have an excuse to purchase a real fuel pressure gauge.

My concern is the mesh filter in the strainer housing... I don't think it can be removed w/o removing the FPR housing. I'm also going to remove the return line to the tank and make sure it's not plugged somewhere... hopefully.
Yep that fuel pressure gauge is getting ordered ASAP, along with the O-rings.

You would have to remove the FPR to get to that internal screen. I'd have an o ring kit handy.

I'm probably being overly ****... I guess I'll start by making sure the return line isn't plugged and checking the FPR assembly and go from there. I'm going to shoot the PO a quick email and see if he ever shimmed the FPR just for grins. Waiting on Clay to call me back to see if the fuel pressure gauge I want is available, then I'll be placing my order for the injector o-rings and the gauge. Hell maybe I'll get the FPR o-ring kit as well

Sounds like the FPR is completely blocked , I'm surprised you are no blowing filter lids ...

I'm going to pull the return line when I get home and blow through it with compressed air to see if it's plugged. If it's not, I guess I'll risk pulling the FPR w/o an O-ring kit to see where the problem is. I don't know how long it's been this way and how I've managed to not blow the lid apart, or at least blow one of the fuel lines. I just hope the injectors haven't taken a beating!

One thing I forgot to add- the PO removed the fuel restriction sensor and put another schrader valve in its place. I got nothing from that one yesterday when I was testing it, so I'm guessing there is a blockage somewhere in the FPR. My fuel pressure gauge, injector o-rings, and fuel bowl o-ring kit are all on their way thanks to Clay. The gauge and fuel bowl o-rings are being drop shipped right to me and he had the injector o-rings in stock. Hopefully they show up tomorrow or Saturday so I have something do do over the long weekend.

That one would only measure low fuel pressure in the filter canister .. 5-7 PSI.

True. I thought the gauge I bought was 0-120 psi but I just checked and its 20-120 psi so that explains that little mystery

It's been on my to-do list for a while now, this is just giving me a good excuse and justification to the wife for spending the money I scored a new steering column gauge pod for $15 shipped a while back so that's where the fuel psi gauge is going.
