Tow Package

Just curious. Do all Excursions have a tow package or is the difference between having and not having a tow package the mirrors.

The side mirrors and rear sway bar apparently is what makes up the tow package. Neither is required to actually tow something - mine has the paddle mirrors and I can see while towing the boat just fine. While the larger mirrors are nice they can also make it more difficult if you need to pull into a garage, drive through, etc. The Ex is fully capable of towing 'as-is' - not like tow packages on other vehicles which includes tranny and/or oil coolers, larger alternators, larger radiators, receiver and wiring, etc as part of a package.
