PCM question.
Im in the process of looking for a new pcm. I have an LH. i called my local delaership and they gave me the same one as a replacement. Ive read scouring through the internet that i can use an AAD to replace it. Is this possible or has any one heard/done it? Thanks!!

I had to replace mine twice accoring to yards and dealer only the ld-lh will interchange with one another. The aad had software and other changes that I was told will not work. I went to an engine computer rebuilder for an computer that had parts upgraded and tested. The ones you get from the dealers are prone to failure. Check the net and call around.

Thanks fordman for the response, I have heard that too as well. Heard some people in other forums say they used the aad as it is the newest replacement. Just curious if anyone actualy used it as a replacement or if they tried and it didnt work. Once again thanks for taking the time fordman.

Pcm and cats
Hey guys wanted to let you know my current "LH" pcm was replaced with an "AAD" and was successfully reflashed and installed. How ever after all of this my Cats are bad in the manifolds.
Does anybody know if an 04 or 06 manifolds will bolt up on an 05?

It was a used pcm. Fortunately it was a little over an hour away in a town that i used to live by. I found this link on another forum and its what i used. www.car-part.com it was under engine computer. The parts stores say its the same part number for an 04,05,06?
