what tranny fluid?

what tranny fluid?

my trannies at the shop after i detonated it getting rebuilt.
so my question(s)
which fluid should i use? im on a buget but i dont wana skimp. i cant have this happen again.

also any tips or tricks for re installing the tranny?

anyother input on this?

thanks for any advice you may have.

if needed trucks is a 96 f350 cc 460 e4od 4x4. thanks again

Make sure you flush out the trans cooler and lines. Make sure the torque converter (new) is fully seated in the trans before you bolt the trans up.
I would think that the fluid originally for your trans was Dexron3/Mercron spec. However Ford now only supports Mercron V spec fluid so any fluid that meets or exceeds Mercron V should be fine. One that springs to mind is Mobil1 ATF.
