Pinging

Just wondering if anybody has had a problem similar to this and what they did to fix it... After my '89 B2 warms up it will ping under acceleration. I checked the timing, and it was set to the factory spec. Since it only occurs when the engine is warmed up I was thinking maybe the O2 sensors are bad. I guess I'm not sure where to start, besides checking the timing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pinging

My guess would be spark plugs either worn, clogged with combustion chamber crud, or the wrong heat range. Secondly, I would look at cap/rotor/wires. Does it seem to run hot when after it warms up? That would cause high head temperatures and cause pinging too... Good luck Brian
