Hello
Just wanted to drop in and see how active the OK chapter is. We just purchased our 02 Expy EB 5.4 and really enjoy it. Some issue's thus far (after 4weeks of ownership) The Blend Door, makes me wanna cuss but oh well..12hrs?!? wow,,thats not going to be very enjoyable. Alternator went out this mornin...was on my way home from work last night when I noticed the Volt gauge move down...very cold last two days and the first time I've had rear heat on Full w/ defrost on and the driving lamps... doubtfully the aftermarket head lights w/ LED along t he bottom and projection style lenses w/ halo's draw that much...but watched the needle get closer and closer to the bottom..I turned off everything,,then systems started to shut down one by one on the dash...but got me home,,,very nice since I was fully expecting to walk up hill in the snow ^^ chances are it is the alt, right? Are there fusible links on these and do they pop frequently in relation to the charging system?

alt replaced...love it when they put em on top..unlike the cougar which took 8 hours to get out...argh
