i was on my way home from work. i had the ol girl cruising pretty good. speedo said 75(navigation said 90). i saw 10lbs of boost. is this normal?

a light on the bottom right side of the cluster flickered. i came on and went off so fast i couldnt tell what it was. it done this twice. she seemed to be running fine. any ideas?

 

10 lbs of boost at 75 sounds pretty normal, i see anywhere between 4 and 15 depending on head wind and grade. The flickring light isn't normal, not sure on which light that is.

 

no grade. just the flat hwy 90 between the ms, al line..

I'm to lazy to run out to my truck to look at my owners manual to see what warning icons are on that side of the cluster but if its bothering you, like it is me now I could go out and see, unless somebody has one they could post up.

 

If I'm not mistaken, the bottom right is the brake light, check to see if the emergency brake is bouncing around and triggering it?

 

isnt the brake light red? whatever flickered was orange

You should have mentioned that before I made myself look stupid Is the SES light in the bottom right?

 

Just went out and looked, it is the airbag light. Pull the cover under the wheel and make sure that the plug is connected good or take it and put on the AE. Donot unplug with the battery hooked up, as this could cause the airbags to deploy. The plug you are looking for has the wires in a loose yellow sleeve.

my airbag light is on the left side and flashes all the time. i dont pay it any attention.

Now I am the idiot, went out and looked, and thought you said left, my bad

 

My manual says it is the Door Ajar Light

 

Like on the left, theres quite a few icons on the right, not sure on the colors though. If you had the anolog speedometer like in my 03 you could do a system check where it checks all the lights and icons for lighting but your early 99 doesn't have that, it didn't start till 02 I believe.
