new buy need help

i want to buy a f250 superduty does anybody know if i should go with the 6.0 L diesel engine or the 6.4L diesel eng. i dont want a gas GUZLER or should i stay with the gas engines.

What's it for? That will determine the advice you get. If you use the search function you'll find a huge number of posts debating all the motors pros and cons.

if you dont want a "gas "guzzler you might not want a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. ive been reading that 6.4's dont usually get over 16-17 mpg, 6.0 might be a little more and some 7.3s claim to get around 20mpg highway. a v10 will get you about 14 hwy and a 5.4 v8 will get maybe 16-17 also. super dutys are generally gas/diesel guzzlers. the new 6.7 claims to get decent mileage

do you need a diesel or just want one. you might want to do some calculations on how long it will take to pay for the diesel. Not only the extra to buy but also the extra cost in mait.
