You may have a small fuel leak. There is a ton of stuff in the valley that can leak fuel. Could even be a fuel pump (DOH!). Do you have a "Cali" model or a "Fed" (49 state)? I see you have a signature already but if you add you truck "spasifix" it will help us all out a lot.

buddy thats a hell of a deal and the paint job it looks perfect , im payn a total of 8 grand for mine , i had the transmission rebuilt at dealer , torque convertor and main pump started messin up , welcome to fte , ive only been here for a couple weeks and learned alot about the motor and the trans its a repair manual lol

Oil leaks in the valley are usually o-ring related. Bob is a sponsor here and can take care of you in the o-ring department. Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines
You just need to clean things up and figure out where the leak is coming from. That or get some dye and a black light and look for the leak that way. In the mean time, carry extra oil with you. Your fuel injectors run off of engine oil so the truck will run bad or stall if the oil gets too low.
