When doing upgrades on my truck, sometimes i can find guides uploaded by other users. But when i go to the tech section and lets say i want a guide someone did on replacing shocks on thier 7.3 4x4, i dont see shocks as a subject. I know i seen a link on here, not that i need one for replacing shocks, but i dont know if im searching the right way to find guides. lets say i want to upgrade the turbo, when i go to the tech section shouldnt there be a 7.3 section and then turbo under the 7.3 section. can someone help give me an idea of how to search the tech area. thanks in advance.

I start with the "Search this forum" link. If there were a good guide created, you will find it referred to in a post.
Most of the times the post will be detailed enough.
In your example above, search for "replaced shocks". That returned links to 7 threads. (Use Control+Click to open the thread in a new window and not lose your search results).
