HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Would it be diificult to put a 351 in a 1979 F100 that just blew up a 302? Are the motors drilled the same, etc. What, if any, modifications would I need? I would appreciate any input. Thanks

if its a windsor, its just a drop in deal, maybe some problems putting the headers back on, since the deck height is different. But a modified/cleveland would need some fab work and the bell pattern is different

bell patern is differen on the m , but not the c everything else on the c howeveer is different so some fabbing wold be required. as stated above 351w is the closest to a "bolt-in" swap

cleveland uses the smallblock pattern, m uses the 460/429 pattern not sure exactly why Ford did this though, maybe someone here can enlighten us while we wait to see what the OP actually has
