Question Clearance lights

I'm going to want to put some on my truck eventually. I was wondering how many of you guys have added them to your truck and if anyone has any experience with brands I should avoid, or ones that are really good.

I added them to my truck. I ordered everything from Ford. I think it was around $100 or so. Make sure you get a Greenlee slug buster for the holes. Measure twice and give 'er hell.

I installed them on my truck. I would only use OEM. Some people who have used the aftermarket brands have had some issues. OEM is the only way to go. Good luck.

$100 isn't bad. Especially if the quality and non-leakiness is there. I've got a couple sets of slug busters. Good call.

Did you silicone the hell outta it, or did sealant come with the stuff you ordered from Ford?

That was with the wiring harness, the lights and even the nuts for them. The lights have foam on them and I think I used a little silicone around the bare metal edges and smeared a little on the roof around the light.

IMO, Recon is the most over-rated product on the market!
