Spend the money and get cryo'd Powerslot rotors front and rear along with Hawk LTS pads. Work very well for me. No vibration, smooth and sure stops. Check out Tire Rack for all of this.
I'm having great results with the Napa Ultra Premium rotors up front and Premiums in the rear with Hawk LTS all of the way around. Absolutely no issues in 13k miles including towing the boat with a few panic stops. Whatever pad/rotor combination you choose make sure you bed the new pads in correctly for the best results.
I'm gonna go with tdappleman...back in 2008 I had a serious brake pulsation when decending a serious grade out in Utah...
When I got home I looked at all the options...many on here...like in this thread suggested the cryo rotors...those rotors are like $150 each or something crazy IMO...
I subscribe to the fact that the issue is more in the brake PAD than the brake rotor...
So...I put on a set of Bendix rotors from my local auto shop at $40 EACH ... BUT I got a set of Hawk LTS pads for $75...therefore I've got $155 TOTAL in my front axle for a complete brake job...
I tow a 9000# TT all over the country and since I have installed those rotors...the braking has been just fine...
IMO...the normal standard high quality rotors paired with a high quality brake pad is all that is needed...but that is just my opinion...
