stock chipping
I'm new to this whole Diesel world. i just got a 1996 f250 7.3. its a great truck but im looking at getting more power out of it. most everyone i have talked to has said a tw chip is the way to go. but im not sure what i have to do to help the truck run good with the chip. im upgrading the intake and doing a muffler delete. is it safe for the engine to run a chip with stock injectors? im just looking for any help i can get thanks a ton.

The 7.3l accepts tuning very well. You'll be fine with stock injectors. Check out this forum

It's the 7.3l diesel forum, down a little farther. Go do a search there about chips. I believe the dptuner is one of the most popular for the 7.3l on this board, but I'm not sure, I'm a 6.0l guy.
