Where in the heck could I find the radio removal tool for the 6 disc radio?
most auto parts stores they are cheap i usually use a metal hanger and make my own but goto almost any auto parts store and you should be able to buy one if not im sure if you goto a car audio shop they would loan you theirs...
Simple tool any good auto parts store will have it, two wires with little notches on the end bent in a U shape, goes in the holes in the front of the radio on each side.
Thanks! The truck is new to me and Its saying all 6 discs are stuck. I tried the remove power thing and it didnt work. Time to get a little more invasive!

www.Sonicelectronix.com find the radio you want there then compair to ebay your radio will more than likely not work again just try to rescue the cds
The tool is around $5, so I'd try the coat hanger, but if that doesn't release it easily, go ahead and get the tool. I had pulled the radio in other Fords with the coat hanger/wire trick, but couldn't get mine to release until I bought the tool. It made the job easy.
Ive used large rivets, scratch awls, pocket screwdrivers. etc. anything small enough to go in there and pry over the release. Takes some wiggling but it will work. (for future reference)
