Finding that chrome XLT tailgate panel
My truck is missing it... I'd like to find the original 92-97 one that it should have (87-91 would fit, but the lettering is different and the stripe is red instead of black -- it'll bug me if I don't get the right panel!)
Junkyards around here don't have any... I was in the heart of truck country a while ago (southern Texas) and I figured it would be easier to find one down there, but every single junkyard I called had none (that's about 10 different junkyards).
Any advice? Should I keep perusing junkyards, wait for the right one on eBay (there's a 87-91 one for sale now, see link below) or... steal one off a fellow Ford owner?
And how much should I expect to pay for it in your opinion??

It would be sooo awesome if this could happen to fit perfectly (width) on my 87-97 tailgate... too bad the handle hole isn't at the right place at all...
