What do you have for an hpx jose? Mine is the flex one and I need to change the fitting going into the head after I moved the original line. It is a 90 and needs to be changed to a straight. I remember Travis had said he went thru a couple orings on that fitting til he changed it. Just a thought. Good luck
If its running OK I wouldn't think it would be IPR or HPOP related. So what else is there that would leak that much oil? HPX line, ICP (probably wouldn't be running well), turbo / pedestal. It could be that the HPX would only leak at higher pressures. Just a thought.

I have a hpx hose from Dale at Tymar and I changed that fitting you mentioned for a staight one, and yes I remember that of Travis thread.
BTW I cleaned the best I could the valley and the HPX hose and the plugs of the galleys are not leaking.

I put some clean paper rags in the front, middle and in the back of the valley, run the motor 5 min and no any clear visible leak, but the front and then the middle of the papers got oil wet and none the back. I checked the ICP sensor and its not leaking. Seems that also the IPR is not leaking. I just noticed that apparently one of the fittings for the high pressure hose, there are two, the most at the front of the HPOP and that goes to the left rail, seems to be leaking, I checked this after the motor was off. so In going to clean again there and check in real time when the motor is running with a light and a little mirror.
If that is the leak Im going to try to tight it a bit, but there are an o-ring there that can be changed or its a special fitting? Its impossible to see if the plug in the bottom of the HPOP its leaking, or not, so IDK.
If its an hp oil line the fitting going into the hpop does have an oring on it. The line connecting to the fitting is not with an oring, its got a tapered fitting

Ok, the leak is between the fitting going into de HPOP and the pump; I tried to tight it a little bit, but it moves with the line; its an special o-ring?, because I remember that some come integrated with the fitting? or just can unscrew the connection, change the o-ring and install it again? if I pull out the fitting is going to be a discharge of a lot of oil from the pump or from the line?, should I empty the HPOP reservoir first?
sorry for to many questions but Im in the middle of nowere and without any special tools.
Are there any parts or hardware stores relatively close? If not I'd stop along the way home and pick up a set of o-rings just to have on hand. They don't have to be the right type, just close enough to get you home.
I believe the o-ring at the HPOP fitting is a -906 which should measure
width.078
ID .468"
OD .624"
and be Viton 90, but as mentioned, any o-ring that's close will work for a little while.
Driving and filling up the oil won't hurt anything, but if the line finally gives way, you might be stuck. How much longer are you on vacation? I wonder if one of us could mail you some o-rings?
I can't give you a for sure answer on it being a special oring. IIRC it looked normal but I just don't know for sure. I replaced mine when I did the pump and ordered the oring kit from ford. In an emergency like you're in I may try an off the shelf one to maybe get you home or somewhere else to work on it. I would think you'd lose oil when you pull the line but again, I'm not sure as I've never had to be in that situation.
Sorry I'm not much more help Jose, hopefully some more experienced guys will get on and help you out. Good luck

Very good info and ideas here. thanks for the offer to mail me some o-rings.
thank you for that very good link, I understood better the fittings of the HPOP.

Never tried super glue on rubber I guess.
thats a very good idea in emergency cases, like mine, I havent thougth about that.

Well I just finished with the work, the problem was, first to find the leaking place, second try to fix it. As I mentioned a obove the fitting with the pump was lose and I tried to tight it but it doesnt tight, until I lose the connection between that fitting and the hose (you need two 11/16" wrenches ) and tight first the fitting into the pump and later thighten the hose against it, after that the main leak stop, but with aceleration there where a minor leak between the fitting and the hose, I retaighten more and no more leaks. I feel that maybe it was lose aprox. of 1/16 to 1/8".
At the end I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all of you, who took their time to HELP ME, really I felt that wasnt alone with your inputs, I never thougth that I was going to need your help, I dont have more words to express my thanks to you and please forgive my bad english.
