Hi Guys
Am looking at F350's online I want sync..Some of the window stickers show a "lcd productivity screen" some show Sync. Is the lcd productivity screen standard with sync?
Thanks
Rick
Not sure what years your looking at but in my 2010 I have sync with the standard cd player and steering wheel controls. the productivity screen is a touch screen head unit. my buddy has one in his fusion and i prefer my simple stereo. the touch screen was to much for me.
the 4.2" LCD is not part of sync, or navigation. Its located on the guage cluster and shows you your fuel econ/lots of other info and is controlled by buttons on the steering wheel.
the productivity screen is a touch screen head unit
Just to be clear, it's not a head unit, it isn't touchscreen and there is no tie-in to Sync.
jmc63 is correct. It resides between the speedo and tach and is basically the information center for the truck. You can choose what you want to monitor, such as trans temp, mileage, drive train status etc. There are also several menus for changing different settings.
The nav unit in the center of the dash is a completely separate animal.
I do believe any '11 with Sycn will have the productivity screen, but I could be wrong.
Sorry I wasn't more specific, I am looking at a 2011 F350 XLT. I have looked at alot of window stickers online and sometimes they are not very specific, sometimes they display what is in a "XLT interior pkg" and other times they don't
And according to what I've been able to find, you have to have the XLT premium package to get the 4.2" LCD productivity screen on an XLT, it's not included with the interior package. The productivity screen comes standard on Lariat and King Ranch trucks.
