Door lock help

Hey guys my wife locked the keys in my truck at walmart the other day and the guy from automotive came out to help her. He put his slim jim in the driver door and unable to get it unlocked started trashing it around in there. He finally got her in but in the process made it to where the driver side lock cylinder won't unlock the door. I took the door panel off and found a piece of plastic on the lock rod. It is the piece that goes from the rod to the lock cylinder in the door. Does anybody know where I could find or buy this piece? Thanks for the help.

I'd be willing to bet it is a Dorman 75451, crosses to FoMoCo OE#: E6AZ 5421952
Ford used the same clip from 1980-2007
You can find it in the HELP section of almost any auto parts store.

Well i'll have to look and see but the part you pictured doesn't look like it. It clips onto the cylinder and then to the rod. I'll have to get a pic of it.

Oh, you mean the flat little plastic clip that slips over the end of the cylinder.
