Tranny Question

Ok so the past couple days it seems as if the transmission is slipping. It will jump a little in rpms before it shifts. I was going to get my tranny fluid changed here also before this started happening because I drove from Texas to Pennsylvania, then down to Virginia back to PA, lots of driving. Also my I noticed tonight on my scan gauge that my temp hit 163. Could it possibly just need a fluid change? It also looked a little low.

When was the last time it was changed? how many miles is on the truck?

in you sig, you should not be smelling coolant.

hahaha oh I dont smell coolant anymore...I got 111695 miles on it...I got the truck with 102 and its one thing I never thought about till about 3 months ago.

change the fluid out if you dot not know when it was last changed.

Do you want to do it yourself or have ford do it?

Another thing you should think about is changing every fluid in the truck if you don't have any idea of when they were serviced last. Is the trans slipping in all shifts, or one specific shift?
