i need help bad

I have a 1979 ford f150 explorer and its rusted in alot of spots. I have found everything I need to repair the spots in a LMC book but I dont know what to do about the Gutters around the windshield and doors. They are rusted through and I just need some ideas of how to repair them and how to stop the rust.

had the same problem w mine . and theres no easy fix i cut the roof skin off and replaced it with 1 from a donor truck

you might want to try junkyarddog, craigslistcrawler & ebay & ebay classifieds for parts. also you might want to go with Dura glass its made by Bondo but a lot stronger an try to fill the spots that way.
