Replaced the old worn out OEM springs on the X this weekend with the Pro Comp 22210 springs. The 22210's were suppose to give a 2" lift but these new springs gave a 3.5" lift. Pro Comp also offered a component box that included new U-bolts and an adjustment for the trac-bar, which also needs to be done with a lift. The number for the component box was 52210-1. My old springs were so worn out that there was metal to matal contact because the rubber bump stops were completly gone. The new springs have a much improved ride and the clunk that I had under the passinger seat is now gone. The clunk had been there for the last 100,000 miles. The install was not as easy as I had heard it would be. You must have a come-a-long and an impact wrench is also helpful. The rear end is now about 2" low so I will either do blocks or an add-a-leaf to raise it a couple of inches. I changed out the ball joints last year and this job was a little more difficult.I'll report back when I do the rear end.
the 2" rating is based on the F series super duty height. it's been shown on here that it gives you an estimated 3-4" depending on your engine application when installed on an Excursion.
