Quick trailer brake hook-up

Quick trailer brake hook-up
Where are the better choices for installing trailer brake control, as far as tapping int power and brake electrical?
I was going to go to the fuse box, but gettint to the back of it is a real bear, the green wire at the pedal disapears into the harnes - I could tap there wirh a quick tap then go to the battery or hot side of the starter relay.
I got the 4 pin trailer adapter at napa for the truck, so no splicing, then a 7 pin pigtail to convert at the rear.
Have to go pick up a trailer this week. - figgure it's better to have brakes for the drive home back down the continental divide LOL
