Maybe you can give me some insight on what else to check. I recently changed my turn signal switch and finally had all of my lights working, but the other day I was driving and the turn signals just stopped working. The brake lights work. I was having issues with my connection for the relay and I replaced that. All of the grounds appear to have good connections. Any ideas on what else to check?
I changed the bulbs and rechecked the grounds and still no turn signals. The 4-ways work fine, the brake lights, and the taillights work. The reverse lights, the turn signals, nor the rear side markers work. Is their some kind of connection here?
Those three issues should not be connected. Neither the reverse lights nor the rear side markers are part of the turn signal circuit. The only thing to check here is whether or not the bed sheetmetal is properly grounded - although you said your grounds "appear" fine, there is no way to verify continuity by visual inspection. You'll need to do this with a meter. It's also possible that everything is grounded to the bed properly, but somehow the bed is not grounded. Since your brake lights seem to work fine, that would shed doubt on that possibility.
The rear side markers are prone to failure due to socket corrosion. Check the fuse panel to make sure the directional light and backup light fuses are not blown. If those check out, it's possible the new turn signal switch has gone bad. As for the backup lights, if the fuse is fine, then it's possible the switch is misaligned or has gone bad.
