Found the site after a guy posted a link on my message boards at Jonko.com... I run that site and it is more of a generalist, DIY type site.... but I had to check things out over here as I'm currently in the process of tearing down a 76 EB and rebuilding it piece by piece.... (In all actuality, life has gotten in the way a bit and things have gone much slower than anticipated, but with a few issues resolved I should be working on the rig quite a bit more in the next few months.... with a goal to have it complete by the end of the year as a Christmas present to myself.... )
Anyway, I've already found these forums incredibly helpful in noting some issues with the truck that I was unaware of and hopefully as I proceed along here I can offer a bit of advice as well...
Hey Johnny and welcome to FTE. Sounds like a great project you picked for yourself there. There's lots of info to be found here and plenty of knowledgeable folks willing to share. And there's even a few "shadetree wrenchturners" like myself that are happy to tell ya how NOT to do something, (trial and error works best when it's someone else's errors).
