We have made big progress with our '53.
We are at the point of re-assembling the cab to the chassis, and we need new cab mounts. We bought the rubber inserts, but they are loose in the rear mounts, could the factory parts be worn?
If I need to replace the whole part, who has the best mounts for the rear of the cab, LMC or NPD?
Should the bushes be loose in the mounts?
Cheers,
Shane
The originals were very thin; I got some from DC years ago they have bushings in the ends; if you look at Midfify's catalog (2010 pg 100)it shows several types I went with the non-adjustable one,you can also see where the rubber pieces fit. I get most of my custom parts from MF because they have the best parts & service, for original parts I use DC because there shop is only an hour from where I live (shipping cheaper also); if they don't have it I go to NPD.
