Thanks! You too, Scott! I only have 3 more work days left and I'll be on a four day break... I can't wait!

So Dave, did you get a chance to tear into the DD? If so how did it look in there?

Nope sure didn't. I'm thinkin I'll buy a powrlok first, so I only have to pull it apart once. I figure a limited slip/locker up front will be a nice addition.

I've never had good luck with "lunchbox" lockers in the front, or any locker in the front of half tons. Lol. The Powrlok is a Limited slip with 90-95% lockup, its a rebuildable unit. plus it's around $300. A factory style LS is only $50 cheaper and pretty worthless. Plus I really don't need a locker in the front for something that will get locked in4x4 on the street.

Morning Scott

Ya Ryan, the best thing you can do is add a locker to the rear. That will make a huge difference. You wouldn't even have to change gears yet if you didn't want to.

Yeah your right. I've been tossing around a few ideas lately. I wonder what I could sell my 88 for with the lift and tires and all. I'd kinda like to start over with a truck in better shape, and maybe just get a f350 rate off the bat. I need something that will safely pull a 5th wheel this summer.

Well for some reason nada doesn't have a online price guide anymore or I can't find it. KBB only goes to 91, anything beyond is considered classic. So a 91 in my specs goes for 2495 in fair shape. I know I myself have about 3k into it. I think I"d be lucky to get 2k though.
