I have a 95' F150 with a 5.8 and the E40D trans, I hate the way it shifts. It shifts and works fine(stock), I just don't care for stock. Can someone recomend a good shift kit for this trans. I want the type that modifies the valve body, not something that fools the computer.
Also, would the transfer case off an older truck work with this one. I saw what looked like a good deal on a used trans and transfer case. I like the idea of spare parts!
Punisher gets my vote. Paul is a vendor on Fullsize Bronco.com and a few other sites. Here is his vendor thread from FSB: E4OD products from Paul's ClutchBoxes
Forgot to say that most transfer cases used by Ford will bolt to most transmissions used by Ford. If the transfer case is later that 1977 then you should be OK.
The punisher valve body looks great, but I'm not sure I want to spend that much, maybe........anyone have anything good or bad to say about the transgo kits?
