the only reason I want his is the 7.3. I'd like to change as much of my "fleet" over to diesels because the bio I make only costs me a buck a gallon to make, and I forsee fuel prices going nowhere but up.................

Getting ready for a Crane Prairie opening day tomorrow!
Truck and boat are ready, it will just be a day trip, as the motorhome is not ready for use yet (roof needs sealed, weather has not allowed).
Bronco II is up and running, tested the 4x4 and it works great!

Its still "interior challenged" as in gutted with just a drivers seat...........but, damn......it runs good!
Not bad for being "written off" almost cash for clunkered, and left to sit in the blackberries for 3 years.

109,000 on the clock.
All seems OK mechanically, But, I am going to drive it this summer, then in the winter put it in my buddies shop and yank the motor, I want a new clutch and slave, inspection plate, flywheel, and it has at least 3 "weepy" freeze plugs.....The motor seems very tight, and made NO strange noises after being fired up for the first time in at least 3 years, oil is clean and so is coolant, no signs of the infamous 2.9 cracked heads..............All seems good, but I will be the one driving it,......... I still do not trust it enough to turn my 16 yr old daughter or my wife loose in it.

You're lucky Jack. Diesel over here is about $4.30 a gallon...
I'm gonna be buying some bio from my dad next fill-up, costs him about $1.50 a gallon to make and he'll sell it to me for $2 a gallon.
