Same problem I had on my 99...
Left rear turn signal is not working. Have decided it's that crappy plastic switch arm with a short (that's what it was last time). Got the new part in, but the configuration doesn't seem to be the same. I had no problem getting to the part to replace it last time, but this time it's hard to figure out. How do I remove the steering column cover without removing the steering wheel? I've taken off the rubber cover to the shift arm and it seemed at first that there was an upper and lower part to the cover, but when I inspected the other side, it seems fused/glued. Anybody know the secret? Thanks in advance for any help (2004 Ford Expedition, Eddie Bower).
