Programmers
I have 2 friends who are trying to sell me their programmers, one is a Edge Juice with Attitude, and the other is an SCT......Im not sure which one would be better, i have heard good things about the SCT and nothing about the Edge....which would be better for my 6.0?

Ditto on the SCT. Make sure you get a good deal - they are reasonable on ebay - $200-250. Make sure it is unlocked and has not been used on too many vehicles - you have 5 vehicles before you need to pay SCT $150 to use it on another. The best Edge product is the Insight for monitoring only - awesome for gauges. Don't use the other Edge options which tune as well.

SCT no question. Stay as far away from that edge as you can. They are know to cause problems with the trans. Off the self "canned" tuners are bad for this truck. You need to use custom tuning to get the full benifit, and to be the safest for your truck, and trans. Do you happen to know what model SCT he has. Some of them don't do custom tuning. If he has one that dosen't offer custom tuning I wouldn't mess with it either. Let us know what model SCT it is, and we can go from there.

Unless your truck's PCM has the same programming strategy as his those tunes won't work on your truck.

Still a good price and you can get tunes for about $100.
