Seal Issues
I have a 77 ford f100 with a 302 motor and I am replacing the rear main seal....I can not get the top seal to budge at all..I have loosend the main bearing caps but I am strking out...Please any insite on this would be GREAT!!.....Thanks

Had the same problem but in a different motor... It ABSOLUTELY wouldn't budge, until it finally gave way with a good whack with the hammer and punch. Don't know if there's any tricks for your motor or if the rubber part of the seal is messed up.
