Trans temp gauge install

Know it's in here, but on my phone and hard to search. Hooked up my 3n1 gauge today... tapped the exh. manifold and the AIH for exhaust temp and boost. what's the best way to do the trans? It's 1/8 npt, I'm afraid to drill the pan for fear it's too thin to thread.

There is a 1/8" test port on left side of tranny. Just in front of shifter mech.

Hey Hammer... I'm just about 25 mins north of Bowling Green.. Back when I was stationed in Va. Beach, use to love driving through that country thru I-64.

Thanks Chris... dumba$$ me... tried back that out this afternoon, thought that was it, but it wasn't budging and I was afraid it would round off on me... guess in the morning I'll go at it and if the stupid thing rounds off, I haven't hurt anything anyhow. Hate to have to bust out the EZ-outs...
