wipers- automatic
I have a 1999 F-150 with 5.4L.Sometimes while driving down the road, my wipers will start with out turning them on. Sometimes when I put my turn signal on they will start up to. I can make it quit sometimes by turning them on all the way then back off again. What is going on? Can anyone help me with this problem.

the multiswitch - wipers, turn signals, high beams - in these vehicles go bad with quite a bit of regularity. not too difficult to change. switch runs between $40 & $75 bucks. i bought one online from a dealer who turned out to be local. list price was $75, online was $40. other dealers charged somewhere inbetween.
