i have a 2003 f250 sc/sb 4x4 134000miles that the stock fpr housing was leaking so i bought a replacement billet fpr and i installed the gold spring now i get no black smoke at all under any conditions unlike when it was stock did i install the wrong spring that might be not allowing the fuel flow like the stock one did? should i go to sliver one which is less psi or black which is more

Don't let black smoke dictate how the truck runs. Let the SOTP feel do that.
Guzzle's site clearly shows the PSI difference between the springs.
Did you check out the poppet valve seal while you had it apart?
seems to run little nicer and i know black smoke is wasted money just afraid that that extra fuel wasted isnt there now so maybe its starving the injectors cus its leaving the bowl instead of going in to rails if look at the bowl design

I take it you don't have a fuel pressure gauge.
If she's runnin' good at top end you are getting enough fuel.
