Hey guys Im in the middle of changing fuel filter on my 95 Bronco. I got the fuel inlet line off with no problem. Im using the 5/16 disconnect tool. I cant seem to get the outlet line off. Ive been working with it for 30 min. Driving me crazy. Any suggestions???
Ugh. High pressure fittings. If you get too frustrated, zap it with a little penetrating lube and walk away til you can approach it without being willing to break it just to get it over with. (Oh no, that is in no way the voice of "been there, done that... oh no, not much).
DON'T EVER CUT A HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LINE!!!! you cannot jury-rig a high pressure fuel line!!!! the 1 end simply comes off by removing a slide type plastic pin, while the other end requires a special tool available at most parts stores-the cheaper plastic works better for me, yea, spray some penetrating lube into the end first-that will loosen the "fingers" in the lines end.
Yes bad advice , sorry dont ever cut a high fuel presure line. I had soaked mine a few times and still had trouble i ended up cutting the fuel filter tit itself and worked it out from there keep working it DO NOT CUT ANYTHING ON A FUEL LINE ETCC TR
