gearing up?
2what do i need to do to gear up my truck i want to put in either 3:73 or 3:85. I don't know much on this subject so go slow and explain all (please) i want to jack my truck up a coupla inches and put on some bigger tires (I think I have 28s right now) i have a 1992 f-150 4x4 standard bed crew cab with a 300 straight 6 in it. Any Help???

You have to decide what size tires you want to use before you decide the gear size. Since you have a 300 you don't want to go too high in a gear #. But what gear you choose depends on the tire size. So come back to us with that and we'll take you to the next step.
