Brakes

Good morning all.I am going to replace my brakes soon and I have a question on bedding or seating them.I have read the instructions about Hawk pads and was wondering if that applies to all brake pads or just Hawks?
BTW,I'm going with Motorcraft Super Duty pads, found a great deal on the internet.
Thanks.Steve

I have never worried about seating them in. I just try not to slam them on & just use them easy for a few miles. They will seat themselves. People get carried away with some of this stuff I think.

Yeah.. I have never had to go and get them seated with any specific process.. just dont use them heavy for the first 25 miles, they will seat in just fine!
