Replacing Engine ?
I have a 87 302 Fuel Injected with 342,000 miles.
I was thinking of replacing some internal parts but what about getting a totally new engine
Any place you know that I could get a rebuilt 302 in Dallas, TX.
I really do not want to rebuild the engine. Just take parts off the old engine and put them on the new one and install.

Check out www.jasperengines.com for pricing or go to a place like Advance Auto Parts. They should be able to get you an engine with a warranty. I pulled a 300 I6 from a salvage yard and ran that for almost 100,000 miles before it died. It just matters what your willing to spend. Happy Hunting!

You can also check out fordracing.com. I bought a new short block from them for 1400. You just have to check who can order it from around Dallas. But the short block has all new parts including block, just switched the cam for a comp 31-255-5, and went with aftermarket heads. The part number for the block is M-6009-B50
