Harpoon Mod Help

Im in the middle of doing a bunch of upgrades to my SD, the harpoon one will be the next one in line, My issue is that Im 3/4's full.. is there a way (im sure there is) to drain the fuel?

IE.. connect hose to something and turn key until I have most out of the tank. it is a long bed so it has the bigger tank or so I heard.. what is the size of the tank on a 99.5 SD CCLB?

TIA!

Truck is not registered, so Im not driving it unless I put a dealer plate on it..

Very likely 38 gallons like mine. Make sure you have lot of coffee cups Mine flatbed is having straight fill pipe, that would be easy to siphon.
Harpoon mods? I heard about mixer delete on those tanks, but not that one.
I am happy with my factory setup. It gives me 30-40 miles with reserve light on.

on my 02.. I just stuck a 5/8 garden hose down filler neck.. Mine had a little over a 1/2 tank just make sure you have enough fill cans.. It got all but maybe 2 gal out..

You can stick some tubing down in the tank and in a container that will hold the amount of fuel you have in the tank.Use your air compressor turned down and put about 20 psi into the fill hole while blocking it off with a grease rag.It will force the fuel out.
I know you are doing this now but Harbor Freight sells a cheap 12v pump that works really well.
