Tranny Fluid Change
i am quite certain there are numerous threads about this subject. i have done this before but not draining the torque converter. is there simple method to do this?

trans fluid change
i dont think the 2002 has a drain plug on the torque converter. You could disconnect the trans line sending fluid to the radiator, attach a rubber hose to that line and place other end in a 5 gallon bucket. Start engine to pump out pan, drop pan and change filter, then replace pan, add 4-5 qts of fluid to fill pan, then start engine and add more fluid as fast as possible while running engine to pump remaining old trans fluid out. Shut of f engine when new fluid comes from hose.
