I like Mobil 1 5-20. But the motorcraft 5-20 is a steal! I would run the motorcraft if I could find the full synthetic version. Again that's just personal preference.
Any oil that meets the requirements in the manual is adequate. All name brand oils are very, very good these days.
This engine does not have any special needs.
If you live in a really cold climate, full synthetics do flow better at start up and build pressure sooner.
Napa had their private labeled full synthetic (Valvoline) on sale for $3/qt so I stocked up.
I am thinking about changing to Mobil1 5w20-I am running Syn blend MC 5w20-I live in OH and it gets cold here. If you are running full synthetic, do you feel you have more oil usage with full synthetic as opposed to regular oil or the same?
I don't notice any oil usage syn vs dino or semi.
I can say that the motor is much quieter and smother on those cold mornings with the Mobil1 vs MC semi.

I switched mine to Mobil1 with a Mobil1 filter. Thanks for the comment-I will keep an eye on the level for a while. I tried it over 30 years ago and had too much blow by. It will be interesting to see how it goes-I think today's motors are tighter.

I think you'll be pleased. And yes, modern machining and materials allow engines to be MUCH tighter!
I have always been told not to switch to full synthetic when it has been using regular oil especially over 100000 miles
Not true anymore.
And a problem in the past only if the engine was grossly sludged up.
Modern "dino" oils have benefited from all the R&D work done to create the absolute best additive packages for the premium synthetic oils - especially detergents. A trickle down effect, if you will.
Name brand dino oils now have much better additive packages and prevent sludge much, much better than they used to.

This year, I switched a '02 with 115K miles from dino to synthetic. It started leaking immediately. I switched back and the leaking stopped...
