2003 Superduty with factory step bar (round tubular bar with plastic top). noticed the drivers side was loose-gave it a tug and it came free-was basically being held on by ice alone. The bolts and nuts are all in place on the mounting brackets-it looks like some how the mounting nuts that hold the step from within forced their way out of the bolt holes of the step. I'm perplexed- how can I re-attach the step? Does the rubber/plastic step top come off to allow access to the inside of the step so the bolts can be attached? Any and all help or advice is appreciated!
