I'm assuming you mean the injector pulse width. The pulse width is essentially the amount of time that the injector spool valve is open and fuel is being injected into the cylinder. It is determined by the PCM and controlled by the Fuel Injector Control Module. The pulse width is determined by engine load requirements.

injector pluse width is rather interesting if you know how to use it. For the most part for what the after market scanners can do it is worthless data. the exception to that would be the AE software and Im not sure about that one
