That must be about it for the C6 in the 89 model year? I liked that transmission. I wish it was still around today.

It had really long legs on the road. I never really used it for towing of any kind and it actually ran pretty good off road to for a stocker the first place I went with it I had the sway bars connected and my friends were kind of suprised by that.

I get 10-11mpg and that's not even stomping on it.
I have a warmed over 5.8, C6, 3.55s and 32in tires.
I discovered I have really bad balljoints. Ill be adding and AOD this month and a 4in lift kit next along with appropriate new gears for the new wheels and 33s.
Ill let you guys know the change in mpg soon enough
