If it is the whole cluster going out:
More than likely --- bad batteries / alternator.
Verify alternator output, load test and charge batteries.
Then see what happens.
If it is one bulb only... old age... see link below for panel rebuild

I just put new Batteries and alternator in about A week ago. It just happened on my way home and its only the RPM gauge, the needle still glows just no green backlight. I unhooked the batteries with lights left on for 30mins then hooked them back up but still doesnt work. Is there bulbs under thier that are easy to get to?
