We'll see, I'm honestly not looking forward to that though, but it is a good idea anyways.

It's 2:39 in the morning right now. I just got back.

On the empty, late-night streets and highways, I managed a bit over 20 miles on 'er.

Tomorrow afternoon, we set sail on some rural highways near here where I can easily go 45-60 mph and finish the initial 500 miles to the first oil change. Hopefully I can rack them up in 2-3 days. I plan on driving this truck--A LOT. It runs a lot smoother at 50-60mph than I thought it would. And it gets up there faster than I thought.

She runs like a dream.

^Yeah but your rear end has got to be a Dana60 right? Don't those things have like 4.88's!?!?!?!

There's no way you could get any motor offered in these trucks to take that thing to 50-60 with those gears, that's like 3500 rpm!

I have 5 point. something ..83 or 38 and it's a timkin -rockwell orphan....the flathead in my truck is howling at 40 mph.. but that is drowned out by the shaking and rattaliing and bounce from the egg shaped tires and fear of the front end falling off!!!!a dana 60 I could get parts for....oh for 3.anything rear end and round tires.....

Took it out for a 95 mile cruise on some rural highways today. The first leg of it's initial breaking I guess. I'm getting a little better with 1st gear, too.

New problem, new thread.
