2000 Explorer EB 4.0

I found a 2000 explorer eb in excellent shape with blown 4.0 ohc reasonable price. Don't know much about the ohc not my color but would be cheap transportation. Should I put a reman in it or a used and sell it and buy a Red one? I've heard bad about the ohc 4.0 is there good too? Ford Forever just don't know about this engine, indy6003

I put a used one in mine, it will run you about $800 or $900. I would imagine the more miles the engines have on them the lower the price. I did the R&R.
