Need advice on adding power steering
Hello everyone. I live in Sandy Springs. Just finished a pretty extensive restoration of the 1977 F100 that I learned to drive on hauling trash to the dump! It looks awesome, but it really needs a steering conversion from manual to power so that I can drive it more frequently. I have been told that the majority of the parts can be purchased at the auto parts store, but that the brackets for the Thompson pump, the one I was told to use, are no longer available. I have not been able to find them online, or in local junkyards. If anyone has performed this transition to power, or has some advice as to how and what i need to get this done, and where I can find all o fthe necessary pieces, I would really appreciate it.
