It what I call the original programming the 6.0 come out with pre injection before ford took the pre injection out and now the trucks aren't as quite as they were. Don't know the correct terminoligy. But all I know is when they removed it my truck was as loud as a 7.3 and milage went south. Ford removed it quoating the computer can't handle the countious cycles firing the injectors.
